In June 2021 President von der Leyen and President Biden established the U.S.-EU Trade and Technology Council (TTC). The TTC and its working groups have addressed global trade and technology challenges such as standards, data governance, research and security.
The transatlantic tech-talk will take stock of the progress made and look at future challenges and opportunities for the U.S.-EU dialogue on tech. What are the lessons learnt so far, what can the TTC deliver for businesses, and what can we expect from the TTC meeting in Sweden?
Confirmed speakers include Erik D. Ramanathan, U.S. Ambassador to Sweden, Veronika Wand Danielsson, Head of Europe and North America Department, Ministry for Foreign Affairs, as well as representatives from the European Commission and Swedish and U.S. industry.
